As someone who has spent my professional music career as a solo, acoustic performer, Songwriter's Lament is so much more than my first studio album. It's an attempt to take all of the emotion and energy of a live show and put it into a form that can be played repeatedly. The only real direction given to the other artists on this album was "bring the emotion," and they delivered in ways that I never dreamt of. I believe hat this album is a testament to the shared vision of people who believe that everything can be expressed through music - from the artists in the studio who added their direction and magic, to you, the listener who adds your own meaning and emotion to the songs. Thank you everyone.
